My life? Your life?

It's so weird to have a friend brag about my life to someone else. If I don't really feel like having the "your job is like those CSI shows" conversations (aka often) I just tell people that I "work in a lab" or "I'm a scientist". Over the weekend I was in one of those situations and started to do my usual downplay when she basically interrupted and told them details. I was so caught off guard that I just let her go on about it.
