Why are these two texts the most romantic thing you've said to me in four almost five years?

One: "Word. So wanna go to hooters when I come through sunday night?"
and
Two: "Oh sorry. Ummm I'm staying with friends from here who are stationed in VA Friday. I'm going to church with my mom on Sunday, and hopefully spending Sunday night with you?"
